Serious Branding Suicide!
I was happy to hear that Tropicana agrees. I was in the store about a month ago and came across this package while picking out Florida’s Natural orange juice. (Sorry Tropicana) I honestly thought that this package was the Grocery Store generic brand until I looked closer.
The reason I am posting this is because social media voiced its collective disapproval that Tropicana clearly went OFF CODE with their packaging and as a result Tropicana is switching back to the straw in the orange.
So the combination of the Social Media voice and the sudden 20% drop in sales combined made the difference. Or did one fuel the other? Hmmmmm. Interesting.
